Shi–Gao–Zhai Map Featured in Prof. Maxim Olshanii’s Monograph

Recently, Prof. Maxim Olshanii of the University of Massachusetts Boston published the second edition of his monograph Back-of-the-Envelope Quantum Mechanics with World Scientific. In this new edition, he includes the 2021 work by Zheyu Shi, Chao Gao, and Hui Zhai, later known as the Shi–Gao–Zhai map. This mapping establishes a connection between free-particle systems and a class of interacting nonlinear systems.
