Fundamental Science Center for Fundamental Physics with Ultracold Atoms Launched

The launch meeting of the NSFC Fundamental Science Center for Fundamental Physics with Ultracold Atoms was held at the University of Science and Technology of China on February 23, 2025.
The center is jointly led by Academician, Prof. Jian-Wei Pan, Prof. Yu-yao Chen, and Prof. Bo Zhao of the University of Science and Technology of China, Prof. Jing Zhang of Shanxi University, and Prof. Hui Zhai of Tsinghua University. Based on ultracold atomic systems, the center will carry out combined theoretical and experimental studies on fundamental physics problems, with a particular focus on nonequilibrium dynamics in quantum many-body systems.
